whitetail and mulies

my mule i got two years ago was with a mule doe and a white doe.

No not at all, you will typically find both types of deer, elk, moose, bears, and any thing else that can crawl sharing one mountain side. The rut is usally simmering down for the mule deer when the whitetails rut starts to heat up.
