Before I bought mine I looked into renting one, I was unable to locate anyone in the Okanagan that rents them

if you only want your meat ground, you might want to check with your local butcher shops and see if they will do it for you. we got ours done 100lbs for 60 bucks and they wrappe it for us. unfortuneately we had this done in mission which might be a bit too far for you or i would give you the location.

I have never seen a rental. As noted above take it to a butcher or you will have to buy one. I looked in the buy and sells for a while and talked to local butcher when i finally found a good grinder for $300. It was a 30 yr old Berkel, it weighs a ton but according to the specs will grind 1500lb an hr. There are deals out there.
