Got this in an e-mail. Good for a chuckle.

BRITISH COLUMBIA
The Premier of B.C. is jogging with herdog along a nature trail. A wolf jumps out and attacks the Premier's dog, thenbites the Premier.
The Premier starts to intervene, butreflects upon the movie "Bambi" and realizes she should stop becausethe wolf is only doing what is natural.
She calls animal control. AnimalControl captures the wolf and bills the Province $200 testing it for diseasesand $500 for relocating it.
The Premier goes to hospital and spends$3,500 getting checked for diseases from the wolf and on getting her bite woundbandaged.
The running trail gets shut down for 6months while Fish & Game conducts a $100,000 study to make sure the areais now free of dangerous animals.
The Premier spends $50,000 inProvincial funds implementing a "wolf awareness program" forresidents of the area.
The Provincial Legislature spends $2million to study how to better treat rabies and how to permanently eradicatethe disease throughout the world.
The Premier's security agent is firedfor not stopping the attack. The Province spends $150,000 to hire and train anew agent with additional special training re: the nature of wolves. PETAprotests the wolf's relocation and files a $5 million suit against theProvince.

ALBERTA
Premier Alison Redford is jogging with her dogalong a nature trail. A Wolf jumps out and attacks the dog. The Premier'ssecurity agent shoots the wolf and keeps jogging. The Premier has spent $0.50on a .45 ACP hollow point cartridge. The crows eat the dead wolf. And that, myfriends, is why B.C. is broke and Alberta is not.

It was all good up to the punchline.

Yah, this may be a downer reply, but I'm in Alberta and have to deal with Redford and her Liberal ways.

Thanks to this Red Queen we are now broke, going further into debt, and she has not come close to paying off all the promises to special interest groups and unions that got her elected.

The future of hunting in Alberta is in serious jeopardy thanks to this government. We are fight multiple battles here over elimination of hunting access rights to public land, new restrictive hunting regulations due to an "adaptive management philosphy".

Sorry, but putting Redford into the light of a gun-toting, sensible conservative is a bad joke....

Where is that green grass? ;)

Are you high????? What would you prefer??? Smith and that pack of radical racist hate mongers? Redford a liberal. Now I've heard it all. She makes stephen harper look like a socialist. As usual you are talking through your hat. While Ratford labels herself as a "Conservative",she has substancial ties with both the Federal Liberals and the UN.She's no more a true Conservative than Christie Clark is.Of course it's difficult for some people to understand these things, especially those entrenched in juvenile leftist philosophies.Everyone is entitled to their political opinions, however some people tend to think about it before they spout off about things they don't really know anything about. Not one of your strong points I'm afraid!Of course I could be wrong, you could be an expert on Alberta politics along with all your other qualifications....but I doubt it. Cheers....Gunner
