I'm sure the summer run streams are active now the water is moving. More likely to be hooking zombie chums and coho right now on most island streams. Stamps always got fish.

I'd imagine with the recent rains most of the Harris fish will have boogied up into no-go water. You never know though. Hopefully lots of Coho's about.

Steelhead fishing yet? Nope, just finished salmon fishing and deer hunting about week ago and now into heavy duck hunting for next 2 months. Those ironheads have to wait till end Jan. before it see my hook, line and sinker.

Nice fish nogg! Looks like the hardware is working well. Do you keep fishing the blades till the water gets much colder?

Two accesses. You likely remember the "old one" through the gravel pit. It is now gated (opens at ~ 8am, closes 4ish most days) and the trail in has been bermed (impassable) a short ways into the timber. About a 2 kilometer walk from the berm.

The other is also gated. Many walk or run quads in to get around that. About a 3 kilometer walk from the gate.

Today wasn't all that bad either!

They work on and off all winter long. When nothing else is doing the job, they are well worth a try. One on a blade today, all the rest of rubber.

Nice catch and pictures. Getting the itch, gonna go downstairs and go over rods and gear and look at doing some fishing too with every one at work and school.
