Hey guys im new to hunting and am hoping to get myself a whitetail before season ends this year. Just wondered if some of u could point me in the right direction. I live in Kelowna and have been looking on the westside to no avail. Not sure where my chances might be best, if any of u have an idea it would be appreciated thanks.

Beaverdell has paid off for me in the past, but later in the year they get pretty spooky so you better be quick on the draw.

I was up through trapping creek today and talked to three different hunting camps not much being seen in there right now .All I could come up with was some turkeys . I drove for 4k and did not cut a track . I would hunt lower than I was .

Not sure where all the deer are in region 8 been hunting here for 15 years and this year mulie and whitetail numbers seem way way down, I am guessing the doe seasons really taking its toll, possibly some disease and lots of predator sightings this year. Seems all my hunting buddies are seeing the same from princeton all the way to greenwood and up the christian valley numbers seem very low. Or is it because they have all moved in town and into the vineyards?

Hunter8 any offroad down hwy 33 has whitetail deer, but i garantee you you will have a hard time spoting any tracks or deer if you drive the roads. The secrect is to get out and walk. Sometimes you will find tracks 15 yards off the road or sometimes 500 meters. I'll pm you some more info on some places you might want to check out when your down here. talk with ya soon.
