Monte Lake Roads???

Thinking of taking the wife and son to the father-in-laws trailer for the weekend, maybe do some road hunting. I really don't know the area, anyone know what the FSR's are like and what would be some decent ones to check out? I have a 4x4, just no chains.

I don't think it will be a problem even though it has snowed pretty well all night long. I would suspect you probably have more snow at home than what Monte Lake area has. Higher elevations will have obviously more, especially if you plan on hanging around the Martin Mountain area. As always, proceed with caution so that you don't get yourself into a predicament that you can't get yourself out of.

There will be a lot of snow on top montie. I would'nt go with out Chains. I've had to pull a lot of trucks 4x4s out of some bad spots.
