Check out the drop tines on the buck I shot in Oct. He is a wide two-point with equal length drops that have the same spiral in them. Pretty unique and gives him some character I think.

Not much of a story to tell...I was on the trail of a few two-points I had seen earlier in the week and had heard from some fellow hunters that they had spotted a big three-point but failed to get a shot off in time. I slept in the next morning and got a late start. After quadding to the spot I was going to work over, just a short hike into the slash and I see this guy making his way towards the trees with two other smaller bucks in tow. I let out a grunt, all three of them stop in their tracks to see what made the noise , BOOM!!! Bang-flop from 75 yds. with a 180gr Remington Core-Lokt out of my Remington 700 CDL .30-06...euro-mount in progress.

I get back into camp a couple days later after dropping off the buck for processing, make a firewood run and guess what I see?...yup the elusive Kamloops Immy!!!

No Moose tag??
Spike/fork season was not open for another week. That was the fourth bull I had seen on that trip, and it was the only immy of the bunch, the area is LEH draw only for his big brothers. Of course I did not get drawn this year. Again.:(

Nice lookin buck wow, a genetic mark for sure. Drop tines are cool.
Kamloops has it all for sure. Little immy is what I want.

I have just returned from 8 days deer hunting in kamloops, funny as a two guys in our camp harvested 2 bucks like yours both small fours with about a 5-6 inch drop tine on the same side they were killed about 200 yards apart on two separate days. a few days later we were heading back to camp and in the same cut at the timber line we saw a 3pt buck with some does and he as well had the same drop on the same antler. I dont know about most but to see or shoot one drop tine buck is great but to kill two and see another all in the same area within 2 or 300 yards was pretty cool, just wish we could of seen the big boy that spread those genes oh well there is always next year SB

Come on! If it's legal and a trophy to you, take it! We can't all pass bucks like on Wild TV. We're not hunting food plots after all! Congrats on a cool buck and good trip!

He likely died as a 2/3 yr old buck as well.....

Need to let those bucks live for another yr or two so they grow into monsters! Nice to have genes like that around, last yr I had two different bucks like that on two different trail cams an also passed on a little 4 pt double drop tine buck.
cool looking buck anyway, congrats
