LEH Success

Day six. Out of truck into timber before daylight, worked the edge of a big cutblock. After a few hours of moving slowly and glassing I had seen nothing but muley does. Headed back to the truck and as I turned to unload my rifle spotted this guy 600 yds above me on the treeline. Tried to close the distance but got busted 350 yds out.
Well it was now or never as he was getting real spooky, my 270wsm launched a 140G accubond but he just stood there so one more, both i knew were solid hits.
After the 2nd shot he moved 10 yds to the right, I shot again and this one dropped him on the spot. Put in for this draw for too many years in region 8 and finally got it. Someone was looking after me that day.

Great looking bull! Congratulations. One of the biggest I've ever seen was pretty close to your area down in 8-15. Not sure where you got this brute - but it's nice to know there's a few like him around region 8.
