these are the one's they leave on the ground out behind the barn.
they must need to be really big to make it into the house and on the wall.

this was at a guy's farm that i was doing some work on out in sask last year.

i'm for the meat too, but when there's some nice bone attached to their heads, it sure feels better.
my dad was like that though.
didn't matter what the rack looked like, he was happy as shit to harvest a deer.

thats a shooter. you should get permission to hunt his property. there is a season for Canadians to hunt there. I think it is soon, but only for a short time....

Whitetails in BC are cosidered vermin by BCers

Mulies in SK are considered vermin by Skers.

Mulies are LEH out there though, but the locals would like to see them all shot. As for a big buck, that's big for BC, but not for SK.

Probably a picked up winter-kill.

and yeah, that's not big at all for sask.
it's crazy how big those racks grow out there.

well i heard some of those good old christian farmers run those deer down with their trucks just to get the antlers to hang on the barn! makes me sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Friends of mine moved out there this spring and he's invited me to come out next fall. I'd be quite happy to come home with a "little one" like that!!
