Hunting Deer

Just looking for some tips on hunting deer this time of year in the chetwynd area. I don't have any private land to hunt on. So I'm just looking for some strategy when hunting crown land. Are deer generally going to be at lower elevations? etc. Any input would be helpful.

when i lived in chetwynd, i hunted deer up hasler flats and out in lone prairie mainly.
