Canada Geese open season

I was checking the regs for canada and cackling geese in area 2-8 and my regs are showing they are open from sept 1 2012 till sept 9 2013 is this a typo or am i going hunting in august!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also, you notice "the regs" are a summary, not the actual and they indicate such...even more so with Migratory birds, managed by the feds, that info in the provincial regs is just a courtesy.
