Hey all,
I've been hunting now for 2 seasons with no success on the big game side of things. It's not for a lack of trying or laziness, I love to hike. I have taken this coming Friday off of work for one last chance at a mulie this year. I don't need/want anyone to give up their secret honey holes but I REALLY want to fill my tag this year. Please, I need an area to hunt Friday that will give me a better chance at success than where I have been this year. Tips and tricks, appreciated. Areas that produce that I haven't thought of, would be awesome.
Over to the pros. Thanks in advance, Schlash.

Kelowna area.
604 - haha maybe it would be easier to get days off if you didn't surf this site when you should be working.

Unfortunately you are hunting in one of the most heavily hunted areas in BC because of its close proximity to the coast. It's a gong show no matter where you hunt and the critters tend to be a little more scarce and wary because of it. My suggestion would be further north or east. My opinion only.

It seems in every part of the province there's a "gong show" going on...

Not like this place. At the current rate they'll be putting traffick lights at the intersections of all the logging roads and I understand Pattison is looking a spots to put up some large roadside advertising stands along them as well.lol
Oh well.......keeps the majority of coasties out of the good areas further away.

Lots of deer in Region 8, find a spot a little out of the way and sit. If you're hiking and not seeing much you're moving way too fast.
