Took my oldest son Levi for a hunt, long story short.....spot deer at 600....Levi wants to go see if we can get him....I agree, so off we go, crunchy snow, and get within 250, both agree he is a fine specimen of a buck......BANG...FLOP! followed by high fives, hugs and tears from one very proud dad. I must say Levi dad is very proud of you, 35 min stock across an open feild for 400 or so yards you did amazing my boy! Not bad for a 7 year old, 3 more years and he can be the shooter. our first spot and stock and it was a success! i think its stupid he cant hunt till he is 10, lil guy shoots a 243 better than some other guys I know.

First off ... BB big congrats on a great hunt and one dang nice buck. But what really makes me proud, was the staements I've outlined. Kudo's on the fine teachings. So much better reading about than lead lobbing. Looking forward to the little guys first.

It won't soon matter who took the shot, this day will not be forgotten for some time. But it will be surpassed when the little guy is the trigger man. Congrats to you both. Nice buck.

Awesome buck and to score him with your son with you is major bonus = I can hardly wait for my 5 1/2 year old to be able to squeeze the trigger on a buck.
