great looking deer and alot of work to follow, by the looks of it.

hey moose2.
why is everyone having such troubles posting pics?

Nice mule deer! Pretty cool looking countryside too. Amazing species of deer to thrive in the interior wet belt, and sage brush country!

When you upload your picture to Photobucket and click on it, you have four choices in the box on the right hand side: Email and IM, Direct Link, HTML Code, and IMG Code

If you click Direct link and paste it into HBC, you will get this in your post: http://i787.photobucket.com/albums/yy154/coach108/IMG_3898.jpg

If you click IMG Code and paste it, you will get this:

Nice buck! I definitely know what it's like to drag a big buck up a hill like that, just dragged one up a steep ravine last weekend. I bet it felt pretty rewarding once you had him back to camp, Way to go!

Congrats on a beauty buck. The fun definitely ends once the trigger is pulled.
I'm going to try the gutless method on my next Deer, so as to avoid those
awesome uphill drags.

I don't think there are many here that would turn down that buck just so they didn't have to do the drag. I know I wouldn't.

Congrats.

Beauty deer and great country! Congrats! You should give quartering and throwing him in a pack a try....it's much easier than dragging, two guys in decent shape can make quick work out of one deer.

Nice buck! Yeah, dragging is so old school. Definitely do the gutless method next time. ;)
