I was hoping to hunt up around the meager creek are ( before the slide section ) , but unfortunately the road is going to be closed until the end of the season .
I saw the samson east main road goes up into the same general area I was hoping to hunt , but the road has one of those red and black active haul road sign .
Is it Ok to go up there or is it no access ?
I assume that if it were no access there would be a gate , but I figure it doesnt hurt to check .
Also , does anyone know why the road to meager has been closed ? The sign says unsafe road but doesnt give any details .
