I'm new to Kelowna and was wondering if anyone knew of any good public hunting areas near Kelowna (or like a contact list of land owners who allow or want hunters for deer) for whitetails or mules. Preferably, on the airport slash university side of town. Thanks a lot

do you think you could post me a link, and so is there much crown land around then or?

Ya millions of acres of crown, accessed through beaver and postill lake roads in that area. Plenty of muleys and whities for everyone up there.

are they paved roads, or can you hunt right off them, and is it crown all around them?

Crown all around hunt right off them as long as you are out of city limits

Beaver and Postill both have private along the lower reaches, beaver up to 4.5 km? iirc. Check with the regional district for maps.

The area you are talking about has some nice bucks.

Try heading up Beaver Lake road and then take some of the side roads to get away from other people.

Than find a nice slash to still hunt the edges or hike a few ridges.

Im sure you will see deer.

Just curious....why are only asking about that area ?
