I wanna go to hunt white tail around grand prairie as i have a friend witch bunch of farm land up there.was wondering if i need a tag for that for my bc licence or buy a albetra licence and tag? what are the costs for non residence? thanks

you need to get a win card, buy tag...believe was about $100 when I did it a few years ago, and have an alberta res accompany you.

You can google the alberta regs and read it yourself but iirc your license would be about $40 and your whitetail tag about $130. Your buddy would have to get a permit to accompany you to hunt (another 30 or so i think).

I was also looking into it, but I believe the application for the hunter host has to be in quite a bit before hand?
I was hoping to get out with a buddy from work next week, I have a win card, but didn't think it could happen.
I'd love for someone to tell me different!

unless it has changed hunter host takes about as long as it does for you to get your license tags. 20 minutes and about 200$ and you and your host should be hunting
