That would make an UltraKewl euro mount.

I hope he got the CO to issue him a permit.
And if not, I wanna know where it is.

Im not to sure the story behind these bulls, it was a friends brother that found them. I know he was gonna contact the local CO to find out if it's legal for him to take them or not, im sure like MR.Dean says, prolly need a permit of some sort.
Ill try and follow up and see what happen to them, im sure if he did manage to aquire them that he would make some kind of a awesome euro/skull mount. If so ill get a picture to show!

Awesome find. A note on the permit. I once found two six point elk bulls locked till death. I did the proper thing (legal) to obtain a permit. It cost me $140 for the permit due to both animals averaging $70 each. The price was the average based on a six point elk rack through the latest wildlife auction through the Ministry.

Now this was 10 years ago, so things may have changed.

Nature can be cruel. Can't imagine what those two guys experienced.

Now that's a bit unfair. Of course I can see paying for a permit to make it legal. No problem there. But why not make it the price of say 2 elk tags. I'm thinking the price of auctioned antlers can perhaps be much higher today.

LOL!!! Maybe that's the moral of the story? Brains vs. brawn.

Hey thanks for that info Timbow, ill be sure to pass it along, messaged my bud there, and they did go to the CO, hopfully find out soon what the scoop is.
I totally agree hunterdon,Personaly, i think it shouldent cost anything besides the permit fee, it's not like the "hunter" harvested an animal, its no meat in the freezer....imo anyway.

Finding two locked bulls would be a crappy scenario, especially two big boys, and double especially if one was as pissed as that buck in the video lol. pretty tuff shooting a antler off a moose, pretty much need a tranquilizer gun, wouldent ya?
That video kinda hit's the heart a little, good on those fellows tho !! I would have done the same thing (in the same circumstance).....except my dog would have been on a leash!!

Cool video. Deer were not made to walk on ice, that's for sure.

To find moose like that locked together would be a cool Euro mount. You would need a special permit.

An old country store back in Nova Scotia had two whitetails mounted that were found locked together. They just used different capes and it was a really cool mount.
