Reg 8 meat buck

took wednesday off work to go hunting with a buddy up princeton area seen a bunch of does early then around lunch we were splitting up to walk opposite side of a ridge got maybe 5 steps and buddy says deer! its a buck! walked over this little guy was about 100 yards out put up on him one in the spine and one finisher in the neck should make for some tasty steaks and pepperoni, now i can concentrate on a big boy in reg 3

so if a 2 point is just a meat buck, what do u do with the big boys??? i never understood that, all buck are meat buck to me, big or small

good point, last year my 5x5 was the worst deer meat ive ever had super gamey my buddy had a nice 2 point and the steaks were amazing , the big boys is usually pepperoni and sausage and thanks

cool, that make sense bro, we havent had any luck shooting any thing big then a early season 3point, we mostly see small 2point and shoot them, they have alway being tasty bugger:)

totally man thats why i like to get to other regions last year i got my buck on opening morning not dissapointed with it at all but not being able to hunt deer in that reg rest of the year kinda sucked
