What's the news on snow in Princeton area? Is there any yet? Planning to go soon. Wipsaw, Lamonte Crk areas?

good luck.
depending on how much it's protected from the sun, there won't be much.
and if there is, it won't be soft and fluffy that's for darn sure.

there was alot up there already, but it's been very warm, even up high.
it was +4 up at the pennask summit last night and still is right now.

Yeah I was up there few weeks back and it was a dust bowl and not a sign of snow for miles. Thus I saw nothing. Thanks for info

i was up off the coq on sunday in quite a bit as well, but went up there again today and everything was melted completely.
and then went up even higher, and there was only slush in the shady areas.

Just got back yesterday. We camped at Whitehead Lake. There was snow on the ground but it rained a lot Tuesday night. We went up to 5500 6000 (tel:5500 6000) feet around culmination point and the powerline. Some sign of deer movement up high but not as much as I hoped for. There seemed to be more moose moving than deer. We only had a couple of days not really enough given it was our first time in the area.

Good luck
