Anyone have any good reviews for charters you have been on? White fish is first choice, salmon when were done. I have also heard of guys getting there Alaskan licence and fishing both??? is this do-able and or legal, do any charters do this? Please don't bash the unaware
Looking to take my father in law and some friends up
Thanks

We have done the BC/Alaska dual license thing, but that was unguided. I really doubt the Rupert guides are allowed to guide in Alaskan waters, but not 100% sure. I would call and ask. I went with my wife and kids on a chartered trip in 2011-it was fairly bare bones service wise (which is what I wanted). The guy worked hard and we were on the water from 7am-7pm each day. He was also willing to "deal" if you know what I mean. My neighbor booked him this year and had a great trip too. Shoot me a pm if you want some more info.

I would highly reccomend Sunset Charters out of Rupert, I have worked with Dave as a guide in the Gwaii for years he has a great attitude, always puts a positive spin on things, and he catches a lot of fish!
Check out his site.
