I just want to thank all on the forum who gave advice on moose hunting: techniques, what materials we'd need, areas to try, etc. We had a good couple of weekends in the Cariboo and saw lots of does and cow/calves. We learned a lot, got to see another beautiful part of the province and hopefully next year we will be able to build upon what we learned. We were not however able to put anything in the freezer. We still have our Muley doe tags in a few days and those should be a lot easier to cut in MU 3-17 over the Remembrance Day weekend.

Good on you, Sapper, for making such a strong effort to get your bull and props for thanking the HBC members who gave you some good advice. Now go fill those doe tags!!

Thanks, for letting an island guy come along on his first main land hunt. Those didn't know what hit them :) I'll raise my glass to successful hunts, and I'll raise it time and time again to the unsuccessful ones. Much thanks to Sapper and the boys.
