Hi,

Does anyone know about a driven pheasant shoot on in the mid island area of Vancouver Island?

Found out that they are holding what they call "old country style' shoots in late November and just after Christmas. Sounds like the formal line of guns and pheasants are 'driven' over teh line as they do back in Eurpoe. The venue is a farm on the Parksville / Qualicum Beach border.

Anyone been on this shoot in the past?

Someone must have been there?

They have two shoots on, one on November 24th and the other on December 27th. 300+ birds, up to 30 guns. I am very interested, but would like to know if anyone had ever been to one of these shoots?
