Last Day Buck

I was cuttin er close but managed to smoke a good ol last day buck. He was hiding in a steep little ravine amongst a pile of blowdown...

This will be buck number two and the last for this year. The last pic is of the meat buck I had taken earlier.

This lil guy was covered in fat and tastes delicious, he was also missing half an ear. Today's buck will be pepperoni, LOL.

LOL, I have to figure out a better way to take pics than laying the camera on the ground and setting the timer...

Nice bucks. I usually throw a tripod in my pack, so I can get the camera up off of the ground. If I'm still hunting I often set it up as a rest for my rifle as well.

That is one awsome buck D !! Especially for a last day buck. I don't think you will find anyone passing a character buck with eye guards like that on the last day of the season ! Way to go.
