Region 4 Moose Still Rutting??

I'll be heading out this weekend for another try for my LEH moose in Region 4. Does anyone know whether bulls will still respond to cow calls or bull grunts??

My guess is that it will be slow for calling compared to a few weeks ago, but still worth a shot, you might arouse some curiosity. Which unit did you draw in? Or is that private information??

I have had bulls respond well into November and in region 4. Cow calling has worked the best.

Moose are still rutting in Reg 3 so Reg 4 should be good. Second rut/estrus cycle should be underway. Heard a cow calling pretty hard the other day and I'm really certain I was the only hunter in that spot as there is one way in and one way out. Other hunters told me they saw a bull with 3 cows. Bulls will respond to cow calling into early Nov.
