Here is a little Muley I took on a local farm yesterday afternoon. My job keeps me in contact with lots of local farmers which is a nice bonus. I have about 300 acres (next year will be closer to 500) that I can hunt by myself or allow my friends to join me.....befriend a farmer today:)
Anyways, this little guy had been getting into the strawberry patch so I traced his trail back to the draw he was using to move from bedding to different food and water plots. Once the trap was set he I set up in my blind and about 7 minutes into my evening hunt he showed up. Don't let people tell you Mule deer can't be patterned. His MUCH bigger brother is still on the farm and I'm hoping my brother in-law gets him. I took 1 shot and never got back up. 30-06 165 Hornady Interbond.
