1st time I handled one of these.

The jaw set amazes me.
At a glance, it seems partially open, yet it is fully closed. :cool:

Id be inclined to say Beaver, but that seems too obvious, maybe woodchuck ?

It is hard to say for sure, because of no scale, I was out in the bush one year and found a perfectly intact, beetle cleaned porky skull. It sits on my workbench shelf in my garage...

Sorry guy's, it IS a beaver.

My 1st thought was either that or a Muskrat.
