looking for input viper vortex 8x42 or 10x42

who owns these? Are the 10's as clear as the 8's?

Have both the 10x42 and the 8x50 vortex vipors . love them both but the 10x42 are my go to. A lot depends on your eyes and age. I will one day be moving to the 8 x but till then. Either way great glass-- and mine get used and beat with no issues.

I don't have the vortex bino's but not long back I think there was a survey here about bino power. 10x was hands down the preferred power. FWIW

Rule of thumb;
Lower = Cleaner.

How much from 8 to 10???
Noticeable but probably not that significant.

I don't own the Vortex brand but I personally prefer 8X or 10X because I find with 10X after a bit of exertion (short hike, etc.) I shake just a bit too much to hold them steady compared to an 8X.
