After a loooong 2 year wait, I got it back. Quite happy with the results. Talked the wife into a spot in the Rec Room to hang him. Right next to the computer desk, so I can see it all the time. :)

Can't wait to add one or two more, but they are not easy to come by.
Wow I'd love to have something like that hanging off my wall.

'cause the guy was very busy, and maybe I wasn't the guy to raise a bunch of Sh*t over it. From what I hear the price is very reasonable as well. I don't know.

If I ever get something that big, and get it mounted, I will only be able to enjoy it in my shop.:rolleyes: Good on you for 'talking' the wife into letting you hang it in the rec. room.

That's a GREAT looking mount! Waiting for them sucks doesn't it? Mike Moss has done a few of my mounts and (my dads) and it's usually close to a 2 year wait but the work is amazing.
I am still waiting on my Bear from last spring. 3/4 mount. Already have my spot picked out to hang him :)

Waiting for top notch taxidermy is worth it.
I get some good pic's blown up to tie me over until my mount is done.

You don't have to wait that long for top notch taxidermy but you do have to wait that long for good taxidermy at very reasonable prices. Once a taxidermist gains a good reputation, undoubtably, the lineups will grow until he/she has to raise his prices accordingly. Finding one at just the right stage in their career is hard.
The wait for my taxidermist is usually less than a year but prices aren't cheap!
