Good moose areas around chetwynd/Hudson hope?

Hey guys:

Up from the kootenays working between chetwynd and Hudson hope and will have a few days to kill after our project is complete. Just wondering where to start looking for moose? Been up Johnson/burns logging roads for work and that country all seems pretty fair for moose. Are there better places to be? Heading out in the morning. Any advice would help. Thanks guys.

i just drove through there on my way back from the yukon.
tons and tons of deer.

i saw a huge moose on a trailer at the gas station up at wonowon.

i used to live in chetwynd.
i never did hunt out that way.
out the pine pass usually or down toward tumbler.

good luck anyway.
i'd be happy to just be up there away from the masses down here.

shot a moose this year by stewart lake east of chetwynd this year. pretty busy out that way though. hunted the del rio several times. crazy busy out there though too. tons of access though for a guy just looking to do some exploring.

Don't forget that moose is closed until Oct 16 in 7-20, 7-21, and 7-32 to 7-35, unless you are hunting with a bow. You are good to go on the Johnson road in 7-31.
