I'm heading up towards Little Fort for a mulie hunt in 3-38 in 2 weeks. What are the chances of running across a spike-fork up there?

Like most of the areas around here they've taken a huge wolf hit, but you never know. The Island guys I'm running to here have horseshoes this year so good luck.

Hopefully some luck comes our way then! We were up in Chetwynd last week and were skunked on the moose front.

Thanks

Just came back from 6 days in 3-39<first time in the Little Fort area>. Great terrain, but the wolves have a tight grip on the land. Lots of howling at night, which kept the game in the trees and pushed them away...saying this we still found a mix bag of game!

Went through a conservation checkpoint on the highway on the way out and they were explaining its bad anywhere you go through the Cariboo and surrounding areas.

Pick an area and good luck!

They are there for sure along with the muleys. Wolves are definately a problem around there and will be for some time.

Yeah, the right spot and right time are key. We're going to be in the area for 5 days so hopefully the mule tag is filled quick and then I can wonder around for a moose. I don't know the area too wel,l so I think luck is going to play a big role, otherwise it's moose tag soup this year!
