Though I would share these photos we took in the Weedy West Kootenays last week.
Hunting around the Okanagan rattlesnakes are the only thing to be aware of.
We obviously traded up big time when we were in the WK.
This is one magnificent bear. It was extremely captivating to watch.
What a priveledge.

ill take the bears over the snakes anyday ..beauty bear ..pretty cool if you get to watch them for awhile close up .got to watch this young boar play in a marrmot hole for awhile a few yrs back ..was pretty cool

I will second that I will take on a g bear before a rattle snake any day of the week .

i know what you mean about the bears. i saw lots of grizzlys this year but nothing of that caliber. ive only hunted in the okanagan so the being around grizzlys was new for me. no issues tho. deffinately wouldnt go running into where the birds are squacking there, like i do here!
