Lac Le Juene

has anyone ever hunted around lac le juene? a friend of mine with a cabin there invited me up for the weekend and i dont know whether i should bring my rifle or not.... yours guys input?

Absolutely! Good deer population and fair amount of moose too. Grab a backroads map book and explore some of the fsr's. Any excuse to get out huntin is a good one! ;)

Been scouting down there couple of weeks ago, not much sign of anything. Got a couple grouse though.
Then again, all activity might have changed with the cooler air moving in. Still very dry though. For sure bring your rifle, you never know!

I find the lac area pretty slow but there are deer in there and moose so good luck to ya

just like all the others have said bring your gun. I have only hunted that area for one day in my whole life but in that one day i did see a decent bull moose and a couple WT's. obviously with a bit of luck you could shoot a good deer in there.

Great area for moose. Not open yet though. Deer can be found in any of the cuts and there are plenty around. Take your rifle!!

wouldn't be a waste of your time to go for a hunt in that area for sure
