I have a COUGAR in my dear stand!

Our whitetail deer stand is ready to go. On the second day of the trail cam - we got a cougar hanging around. No sign of deer.

We built a stand 25 feet up in a tree. We came back following year to find claw marks up the tree and iinto the stand.
Either bear or cougar.

I personally would not relocate the stand. The cougar is there becuase the deer are! Me and my hunting partners in kamloops have alot of cougar pictures in the areas we hunt. And still always manage to see bucks.

Buy a cat tag and hunt there twice as much, they taste good and look good hanging on the wall. Maybe try a predator call if the deer have really spooked.
