A report of forest fire to Norwegian Police resulted in finding a burning ATV, dead dog and guns, booze and ammo spread around a moose hunting camp. Charges pending.

Norwegian indigenous Sami politician, Terje Tretnes, explains to the Norwegian news media, that after his hunting party shoot a calf moose, they had a drink at the camp, then took a taxi to the local pub to celebrate further, and was upon the return to the hunting camp surprised to find police, fire trucks and ambulance present, and the camp burned down, and the dog runned over and killed by the fourtrax. They also left all their guns and ammo at the camp, before going to the local watering hole.

There is a strong ethnic hatred towards the Indigenous Sami people in Norway, Sweden and Finland. Sweden used to forcibly sterilize Sami women.

I think all round hatred is a bit strong. In Finland, 'Sami' are considered mostly ethnic Finns but issues around traditional rights are as always contested. Finland is the only country, I believe, that has constitutionally enshrined rights for the Sami as well. Now as for Swedes and Norwegians, they have always, especially, Sweden, used Finland and it's occupants as a soccer ball between them and Russia so Swede intolerance is not surprising!

Unspecified threads have now, according to Norwegian Police, been uttered towards the Indigenous Sami hunting party, who couple of days ago found their hunting camp burned down, dog run over and killed with the forutrax and their guns and ammo spread out in the surrounding area.

Norwegian Police also wants to change Indigenous Sami geographical names into the Norwegian language:

Although this developing story, what I first thought was only related to "drunk hunters", half a world away, is now turning towards a trivial and typical ethnic strife and hatred, this one, "Vikings versus Sami", which has, perpetually been going on for a millennium or more ?
