I was out hunting this evening in chilliwack and took a nice long drive up to a spot i havent checked out yet and i was able to spot 3 mountain goats and a black bear. Unfortunately my camera that i had only has a 5x zoom and i wasnt able to take pics. But it was sooo cool being able to see them up there on the slopes. The road i was on was pretty rough. Tons of deep cross ditches. Finally got to one i couldnt get past with the truck. So i started hiking. then it was starting to get dark so decided that it was gonna be a long drive back down so i better head back to the truck. Thats when i seen the black bear. Probably 300-400 lbs. didnt seem to big. sure wasnt afraid of me being there. All in all it was a nice day out. Didnt see any deer. Saw 6 grouse but didnt get any of them haha. and then the bear and goats.
