Evening Elk!

Managed to bag this bull in 7-20A despite the hot weather! A great hunting experience - had to put all the things I've learned from my hunting partner over the past few years into practice. The bull responded to my bugle but hung up in the bush so I had to get aggressive, break branches, make some harsh bugles, mix in some cow calls, play the wind, close the distance and piss him off! He finally had enough and came to check me out. What an adrenaline rush! I am super happy - especially after missing last year's hunt!

Nice bull sometimes if your original plan is not working, change it up there's nothing to loose as you did. Congrats on your elk.
