new to this deer thing

Like I posted before I have nearly always hunted bull moose and few bucks, but I am trying to understand what they mean in region 3 where it says anterless Oct.10 and then says either sex Nov.1
Sorry if I should know this but I just don't understand the difference.

Either sex means you can shoot a buck or a doe in the management units listed during that time period. It's also youth season.

Starting oct 10 it is open to shoot a whitetail doe (antlerless) until oct 31. Then starting on nov 1 it is open for either a whitetail buck or doe if you are a youth (under 18 ) until nov 30.
