I'll be in Princeton later next month. I need to make a run up to Merritt and back.
What Coalmont road like? Is it a gravel road, whereas I can 'roadhunt'? Or is it paved. I know it's paved from Princeton to Tulameen. No hunting along that stretch.
Any chance of picking off some grouse?

most of the road is paved.....but some stretches that are gravel. Not really a rd to hunt off of. But some of the gravel rds off it are good

Its paved to past the end of the Lake then gravel to 5A. Its a well maintained, easy to drive road.
Much of the road goes through fenced ranch land so little opportunity to "roadhunt" but there are a lot of side roads like Elkhound says.

Agreed, no deer, no bear, no fish, nothing.
Better to just keep on driving through.

lol...
maybe for my quick up and down trip, I'll stick to 5A.
sounds like a neat area to explore one day though.
