GArmin Data Problem

I am unsuccessfully trying to transfer digital map data from a navionics SD card to a Garmin 450 Oregan. After completing what I think is the data transfer neither the map detail chnages nor can i find the "Charts" file.

If anyone has any experience with this problem I would appreciate the help.

Did you update your firmware, some people I fly with are experiencing some garmin issues loading 3rd party maps after the update.

Interesting but old news. The example they give (60CSx to V4.0) was done in May, 2009. I couldn't find a version number in my unit.

Generally the maps on SD cards are copy protected so they can't be transferred to another unit.

Call 1-866-429-9296. Had to call a few days ago and had my problem solved in a couple of minutes.
