was hunting in the Fowler creek area last week when I caught a guy snooping through the windows of my vehicle, which was park as I had went for a walk about.
when I confronted him he said he was just "checking". he was on a red quad with a wooden box on the back rack. He had no riffle so he wan't hunting game.
I talked to another hunter in the area and he had the issue.

Watch out guys and girls, these a--holes are looking to steal our stuff.

Just checking what? Did you ask?

He was probably just looking for a beating. Too bad he didn't find one.

x2! this is why i'm so paranoid to leave anything valuble in my truck. might be why my pack weighs so much but at least i wont lose anything. you should have sat and watched him for a while and see what he was going to do.

I would have followed HIM for awhile. At least make him feel a little uneasy and have second thoughts about "checking" other peoples vehicles.

somehow need to report that guy. Right after you give him a head fake, and when the f#@*er goes for it thats when you hit him with the over the top hook!

Sometimes, when I'm driving my truck, my brakes fail, and I accidentally run over assholes.;)

Have had a similar thing happen when fly fishing. Got out my camera and started taking pics. He eff'd off pretty quick.

Watched a guy check out my vehicle when the windows were rolled half way down. Stuck his face in the back to check it out and I guess he didn't notice the sleeping dog. He nearly lost his nose when the dog exploded on him.

I'm guessing he had to change his panties after that little episode.

You've got the right idea. Catch up and run him off the road.

Maybe he was just conducting a Wilderness Watch session.

yeah I thought about it after I got home. I should have "checked out" his quad with my front bumper.....

An open (and empty) gun case in plain view on the front seat is said to work well.

That's why I always carry a camera. Just pull it out and start taking pictures. Odds are you're also armed with a rifle so the guy will most likely take off really quick and leave the area. Doesn't hurt then to forward the photos to the COs or local police. Most cops in the smaller towns don't have much to do anyway day to day so it gives them someone to hunt. ;)
