Try Tunkwa lake its near kamloops they have all types of cabins and great deer hunting up there

We go to Tunkwa the past bunch of years for an ice fishing derby and stay there again for the pond hockey tournament in Logan Lake. Al and Rich are super nice guys, always happy to help with fishing tips, but not sure about hunting. The nice this is you can get the rustic cabins if its just one or two of you, but if you have a larger group, the large log cabins are great. Really well done and comfortable for a lot of guys.

Jewel Lake Resort (http://www.jewellakeresort.com/)have rustic hunting cabins at a good price. We've stayed there and used it as a base. It is is in 8-14 (near Greenwood) and they are hunter friendly with place for hanging deer. They also have campsites available. The place is owned by a former NHL'er and his wife. I forget his name.
