Sikinni river elk

Hey guys. I'm new to this site and new to hunting. My partner and I are headed up arounk mountain hunting elk. Shot in the dark but does anyone have any words of wisdom for elk hunting in that area? Decent camp spots? Or just any general helpful tips for a few amateurs ? Thanks in advance!!

turn left/west off the Alaska hwy at 156 rd/Lily lake rd just a few kl north past Maes' kitchen/Pink Mountain store, follow 156 rd for 28/30 kms, hunt elk and moose in the high country to the west from the 30 km area, you are very near the Sikanni River at this point
