Even though I grew up Saskatchewan where many record book Whitetails have been taken, lived in Alberta for 7 years also with amazing hunting opportunities. It was on Vancouver Island last year when I cut my first tag and I've been fortunate to cut few tags since including a great black bear at 20 yards a few days ago. I will finally be heading to the mainland for a whitetail /muley hunt /moose scouting trip to 100 mile house, we will only have two days so any advice on areas to start, elevations and technique would be appreciated.
