Port Renfrew Coho Derby

Any members heading out to Renfrew for the derby next weekend? Hopefully the weather is a little better than last year. Sat was nice, but Sun was a "little" lumpy.
Any reports of northerns showing up yet?

Good to hear there's lots of fish, haven't been out there since August. Was more of a family camping trip (didn't do much in the way of fishing), so looking foreward to hitting the water.

Lots and lots of fish!!! Not Manu ho's over 15 lbs .

Might be a big swell as it kicked up yesterday pretty good.

Lots of fish out in 500-600ft. Sure have to work to get the clipped ones though. The bay was slow Sat -Tues for us.

Thanks for the info/updates. Usually hit the second (sometimes the third) tideline out from the marker buoy and do quite well, like ren said, the 5-600ft mark. Might head out a little farther, depends on the weather and the birds.
Regs sure are messed up, 2&2 in the bay, but 3&1(wild) outside?!? Why not just just let you catch 4 and go home, instead of wounding a bunch trying to get your last wild/hatchery?
Anyway,enough whining!! Good luck to all who are heading out!!
