clearwater goose hunting

Heading into the management area 1st week of october, just wondering if i should bother with goose gear. Am i actually likely to see geese on any of the lakes or ponds up the 6 rd?

Not a chance. The honkers are on all the fields from McLure to Clearwater.

bring a box anyways marty, you CAN find them on the larger potholes. You may just not find many, you WILL see ducks though!!

Hey Marty, how did you make out?

I have seen lots of Ducks in the Kamloops area on some of my potholes when looking around but I haven't been up to Clearwater yet...

There were a few on the lake we camped at but to be truthfull we were way to busy cutting and hanging moose to bother with the ducks lol.

Damned nice moose they were too. 5x5 on day one and 7x7 on day 2. Really nice to get back into my old stomping grounds and see my boys connect. Met up with SUFOYT for a coffed and BS session as well. Good to see them opening up some of the old roads again as well.
