I'm heading up to Jaffary to hunt elk for a few days and was wondering if anyone has any news?

Bulls being harvested in the EK, sounds like lots of bugling up high..diddly down low.... It is hot every day (25 or 26 degress) so make sure you have a plan B to get it out of the bush to beat the heat.... Cow/calf season opened today in the low elevation, so betcha its gonna be a gong show...lots of hunters, quads, etc etc.... Not bad if you like to hunt near crowds..

I can't tell you what its like this week, but last week sucked for any calling and movement. But 303brit and I managed to connect on 2 whitetails and lots of chickens in H47's camp. :smile:

Shit, It was fun.:smile: Cleaned up on alot of fun.. lots of grouse and nice young bucks..:shock:. Story when 303brit gets his shit together...........haha:smile:
