sqaumish elaho/ashlu area grouse

how is the grouse around ashlu and elaho in sqaumish this year? i am yet to make it out i know it was pretty good a couple years ago when i last went.

been out four times since they have opened. I have only seen one grouse.. thats not saying much though as I am only playing a couple small areas. more so just scouting around for old rut sign for this coming rut

Got three on my first day, saw three others.

i have spent tons of time up there . seen more up ashlu , but even then i see more in and hour of merrit than all my time combined up where your speaking of . dont know why there seems to be so few
