7-35 & 7-43 Halfway/Graham river area

We are thinking about heading up the 1st week of October for a few weeks, 1st time heading that way. Hoping to get some feedback on the surrounding area. Heading in with truck,camper and cargo trailer with quads. Looking for a good camping site. Any info on the few Ranches in the area to. Has anyone been in the area in the pass few weeks? Any moose moving around? Any info would be great help.

No moose. No grouse. Oilfield traffic everywhere. Drier than a popcorn fart and unseasonably warm as well. Good luck.

What bear chaser said. I took the boy out Saturday on my favorite chicken route and we seen 1 chicken and 3 white tails. I know the area you are questioning about, it's my old backyard. Most critters are holding in the deep forest near water or still up high. The end of October might be better timing. I've seen like this before in there and the oilfield pressure isn't helping.
