I am looking at buying one, but I'm curious as to what the pros and cons are?

How much extra fuel would I need to bring to use one for 2 weeks to heat a wall tent that is 14'x16'?

Very stinky way to heat a wall tent. We did that for a short time until we got a good wood stove.

Not a fan of diesel heaters, we used them at work and at the end of the day your clothes stink.

A good dickenson stove would do the job. But they are not cheap.

I got a stove that was recommended here years ago, Its a surplus heater called space heater arctic by hunter manufacturing. look it up they work good for this time of year, a little small for winter use in a 12x14 wall tent.

I have the big one. Can't remember the btus. It uses 7 liters of diesel a night in a 12x12 wall tent. Works great. No chopping wood(do enough of that at work). Set it and forget it till morning.
